Though designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen for an exhibit at the Danish Museum of Decorative Art, the PH Snowball Pendant was not launched into production until 1983. The spun aluminum shades have a matte finish underside with a high gloss finish on the top. This produces a light that is completely glare free with a symmetrical light distribution. When on the top of the fixture is illuminated while the bottom remains dark. The PH Snowball pendant is suitable for hanging at medium to low heights like over a dining table or in meeting rooms.
