The Flindt Wall is fitted with LED light sources positioned at the top of the specially designed lightslit to emit both horizontal and vertical light, creating optimal illumination. The downward lightalso illuminates the Flindt Wall itself, allowing thedesign to play an active role in the light experienceas a whole. This design concept fulfills key criteria in Louis Poulsen’s lighting philosophy: that design of the fixture must remain recognizable when the light is switched on and that it should be possible to form an impression of the light distribution even when the fixture is switched off.
