Anemone Honorine Jobert is a proven hybrid discovered in Verdun, France, in 1858. Honorine Jobert windflower blooms over 5-8 weeks from late summer into early fall. The showy white flowers cluster well above the foliage on long, thin stems. The flowers of Honerine Jobert Anemone often bloom well past the first frost and are followed by rounded seed heads that sway in the most gentle of breezes. It was selected as the Perennial Plant Association’s Perennial of the Year in 2016. Anemone Honorine Jobert is an excellent addition to the fall border. The fabulous white flowers stand atop the tall, wiry stems and are continuously produced over the lush dark green foliage. Anemone Flowers make good-cut flowers and can last for weeks in a vase indoors. This windflower typically blooms for up to 5 to 8 weeks beginning in late summer and often lasts until the heavy frost sets in. The flowers are frequently visited by bees and butterflies, which are thankful for the last season’s flowers.
